Lack of teeth

When teeth are gone, you smile like that. This is Natalia, and she is six, and upset with tooth fairy. The tooth fairy is late.

"Dad says tooth fairy must be very busy, because a lot of kids from my school are loosing teeth just about now too" - says Natalia.

Very busy indeed.

When we believe something should happen, and that something is not happening at all, we are upset. Sometimes we lose belief. Sometimes we get angry. Sometimes we're just sad...

Maybe we should tell our children that tooth fairy actually came, but instead of leaving a buck under the pillow she planted a new tooth right where the old one was?

I think they'd like that.
